Race for Rehab, Valhalla, NY, October 16th, 2011: The Physical Therapy students at New York Medical College's School of Health Sciences and Practice are hosting the 13th annual Race for Rehab at New York Medical College and the Westchester Medical Center campus. The goal of this race is to shed light on the needs and abilities of physically challenged athletes and to help raise awareness and funds for athletes who are without essential resources to participate in events like Race for Rehab. All of the proceeds will benefit Achilles International. Come out and show your support! Achilles New York and Westchester Chapters will be there with bells on! Terry Fox Run, Central Park, New York City, October 13th, 2012: The Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research in New York City is a 5K fun run for all ages and is a wonderful family event supporting cancer research at the Memorial Sloan-Ketting Cancer Center in New York in the name of a true Canadian hero. We encourage you to create a team or join an existing team. Achilles will be participating. All are welcome!
