Achilles Hope & Possibility® Presented by TD Bank

The Achilles Hope & Possibility® 4M Presented by TD Bank is one of the largest inclusive races of its kind in the U.S., welcoming athletes of all ability levels and wounded, ill or injured veterans. It is operated annually by New York Road Runners (NYRR) and held in Central Park. View a recap of last year's race here.

The 2024 race will be held on Sunday, June 23.

Achilles Hope & Possibility® was founded in 2003 by Trisha Meili, founding board chair of Achilles International, and Dick Traum, Achilles founder and former CEO, who sought to create a race for the disability community to come together with all runners. Its name was inspired by Meili’s memoir about a high profile attack that left her with a traumatic brain injury and her recovery, I Am the Central Park Jogger – A Story of Hope and Possibility.

Since its inception, Achilles chapters around the world have hosted their own Hope & Possibility® races annually.
