The Los Angeles chapter of Achilles International transforms the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. Since 1983, Achilles International has empowered over 150,000 athletes of all ages and ability levels to participate in endurance events around the globe. Meeting Info: Twice monthly on a Sunday at 10:00 AM. Newsletters are sent quarterly with exact dates. They are also pinned on our Instagram page and reminders are sent the week of.
Location: Dorothy Green Park - Lot 5 South, 2484 Ocean Front Walk, Santa Monica, CA 90405. We meet at the picnic tables. Look out for the yellow shirts!

Our Programs Serve

Children with Disabilities
Achilles Kids includes a school-based run to learn program across the U.S. and in-person workouts in select cities.

Adults with Disabilities
Through our 70 chapters around the world, we host organized weekly workouts and provide access to racing opportunities and adaptive equipment. We also offer triathlon training and entries through our TriAchilles team.

Veterans with Disabilities
Because of our gratitude for their service, we offer military veterans opportunities and special experiences through our Achilles Freedom Team.
